Just as each one of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.

Romans 12:4-8

God is building a home. He's using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home. (Ephesians 2:19-22)

Besides the ministries & events listed throughout the website, CHBC offers numerous committees through which you can use your spiritual gifts & talents:

Benevolence – Responding to & meeting people's physical needs (includes Food Pantry)

Children – Planning events for school-age children including VBS & Harvest Fest

Christian Action – Reflecting a Christian worldview in politics, education, & current events

Evangelism & Public Relations – Seeking the lost & drawing people in

Fellowship – Creating a church family through food & friendship

Flowers – Providing beautiful arrangements to honor God and celebrate occasions

Missions – Fulfilling the Great Commission locally & globally

Stewardship – Ensuring proper use of funds & attitudes towards God's provision

Youth – Building a generation who's love for the Lord show in their lives

Personnel – Hiring those whom God has called into service at CHBC

Planning & Building – Planning for the current needs & future expansion of the church

Prayer – Interceding for the needs of the individual, the church, & the world

Preschool – Planting seeds within the youngest of God's people through education & events

Properties – Maintaining church building & properties

Technical Services – Providing expertise in sound, lighting, and projection

Ushers & Greeters – Welcoming God's people into His house
