WHAT IS A DAY AT MOTHER'S DAY OUT LIKE?
This is a sample schedule. While each class will incorporate all of these activities, the schedules will vary depending on the child's age.
| 9:00-9:30 |
Meet and Greet. We offer hugs as our friends arrive and enjoy a little free time until everyone is settled. |
| 9:30-9:50 |
Music Time. We sing songs, enjoy finger plays, and help our minds to develop properly. |
| 9:50-10:15 |
Bathroom Break and Snack Time |
| 10:15-10:25 |
Story Time. We listen to Bible stories and act out our favorite stories from books. |
| 10:25-10:45 |
Playground Time. We go outside to run and play. (When it rains, we have a play area inside.) |
| 10:45-11:00 |
Bathroom Break |
| 11:00-11:30 |
Lunch Time |
| 11:30-Noon |
Rest Time. We need time to let our bodies and minds rest, even if we don't go to sleep! |
| Noon-1:00 |
Art Time. Some of our friends may still be sleeping, but those of us who are awake like to experiment with paint, glue and crayons. |
| 1:00-1:55 |
Free Play. While some friends may sleep through the afternoon, others enjoy playing in different centers, like home living, blocks or the science centers. |
| 1:55-2:00 |
Good-Bye Time. We give our teachers hugs, and get ready to greet our parents with lots of love and kisses. |
