A Memorial Service for John Potts, who passed away on May 2, will be at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, in the Sanctuary. Jana and John's family members will be there. She wanted it to be on a weekend so his co-workers from the UTHSC Dental School could attend.

The Preschool Department is seeking a PAID WORKER. Sundays: 4:45-7:15 pm, Wednesdays: 6:15-8:15 pm, and during other churchwide events where childcare is needed. Contact Roberta Crenshaw at mdo@calvaryhillsbaptist.org.
Sunday School Director Chuck Isler is soliciting homes to begin Home Groups at least once a month – after the Prayer Series is completed. He is seeking a few people who would invite people from your neighborhood or friends who don't attend our church. These groups would also be asked to have at least one ministry project every 6 months. See Chuck to volunteer or with your questions.

We are asking all those involved with the church -- church members, Sunday School members, and those who choose to attend without joining -- to complete a survey so leaders can contact those willing to participate. It is available in the church foyer, in the church office, and HERE.

If you'd like to communicate with other members, submit articles for the monthly newsletter to the church office by the next to the last Wednesday of the month.
A Constitutional Amendment was adopted that permits membership to those who have been scripturally baptized, even if not in a Baptist church. See the revised Constitution and Bylaws, available in the church office.
Search Committee members for the Bivocational Minister of Music position are Stephanie Thetford, chairman; Ginger Carnes, Amelia Howell, William Hutcheson, and Diane Isler.
